Throughout the trip, we’ve been starting our nightly community meetings with an “AAA” (pronounced “ahhh”): each student and co-leader shares either an Admiration, an Apology, or an A-ha moment from the day. In that spirit, we at the blog would like to apologize, for the blurriness of the following photos of our terrific Irish step dance lesson from Mary Beth Taylor. The truth is, with Mary Beth’s guidance, we were simply moving too fast.
Our thanks to Mary Beth, and to the fine purveyors and musicians at the Cobblestone Pub, who kindly let our group drop in on their Sunday evening trad session, and also to L. Mulligan Grocer, which once again knocked our socks off with their take on locally sourced Irish pub fare. It was a real treat to venture from the more tourist-saturated areas into this locals-friendly slice of Dublin city.
