Visit to Glasnevin

We’ve just arrived back from Inishbofin and have so many stories and photos to share!  Here’s a posting from our last day in Dublin before our departure, but they’ll be much more to come!

Some of our students learned the hard truth that there are more people buried in Dublin City than there are alive in it.  While this doesn’t put Dublin in high standing for the zombie apocalypse, it does make the city’s historic Glasnevin Cemetery a place full of history and good stories.

Some of our students set off for the cemetery this morning, took a tour of the grounds and some of its more famous residents, and wrote some pretty incredible poetry, short story scenes, and nonfiction.

Here are a few scenes from the day!

We’re off to Inishbofin bright and early tomorrow morning!  Remember: our internet will be a bit spotty, but we’ll be in touch when we can!  Looking forward to sharing more about our time in the West.
